Jersey Number Flags
Competitive surfers in the 1960's were identified by large numbers on their jerseys. The numbers were set in a bold, slab typeface and in high-contrast black and white.
This hand-made flag uses a washed canvas with hand-screen printed numbers and a US Surfboard Championship patch. Each flag is topped with a natural twine + twill tape and stamped with Slightly Choppy branding.
Colors: Natural and Black
Size: 12" x 20", give or take...
I’ve purchased four flags over the years. All are great quality and the products have been as good (and as cool) as advertised. Always timely delivery too. Love this stuff.
Love my number 6 pennant. The craftsmanship and the detail is unreal.
I bought the jersey number flags as parting gifts for my neighbors and pinned them in framed shadow boxes. We lived on a numeric street and it was a unique gift that symbolized a place that was special to us all. The details in every flag are a little different so it truly feels special.
I love the care that goes into everything Scott makes. We've got a National Park (Yellowstone) flag and a Jersey Number flag, and if others didn't beat me to the punch buying his stuff up before I can get to it, we'd have more!
Love my flags!
