CA Bear Flag - Gold
Handmade in a Salty Boat Shed in Newport Beach, CA
In a former boat shed in Newport Beach, California, every piece is made by hand with a little salt in the air and a lot of respect for the places that inspire us. Rooted in surf culture, maritime history, and the beauty of the imperfect, each one is crafted slowly to bring a feeling of the coast home.
perfectly imperfect.
One-of-a-kind salty artifacts. Each color, stamp, stitch, and stain are all done by hand and are entirely unique.

Kim Cohen Slightly Choppy produces the most beautiful pieces. This is my second flag and it is gorgeous. High quality, handmade items are hard to come by these days and you can see and feel the time and love that went into these flags. I’m just hoping they bring the sweatshirts back because they look timeless and solid in quality as well.

Giovanna Masarie I was looking for something unique to hang in my sons room as he is getting older and wanted to update his walls. When I came across the flag on instagram I was intrigued by how it was made and the look. I hung up the banner in his room and he loves it. We hung it next to a vintage Lake Tahoe Poster and it just fits with the room and he will be able to grow with it.

David Darby The flags are staple in seaside communities, and I remember seeing them from time to time growing up as a kid in a New England coastal town with many beaches and a strong fishing presence. These flags remind me of those growing years.

Caleb Dewart I bought two flags - a California golden bear flag as well as a custom flag with my last name on it. I love both. They’re a cool art piece in my house. Hand crafted with love, they’re really original pieces to have. On top of that, the process for buying them was seamless and pain-free. The were made and shipped in time for Christmas, which was awesome. These are a great, original gift for yourself or someone you love.
